THE DESIGNING PROCESS
The client wanted a contrasting colour for the walls opposite the new, pale green, fitted kitchen. She also wanted an ‘entrance hall’ corner, as this would be the main entrance to their house. Additionally, the client felt in love with this glazed hanging lighting fixture and wanted it to be the centre of the space as well as plenty of sitting area for visitors.
Contrasting the pale green kitchen, we painted the opposite walls in yellow, and used black – brown furniture items for the ‘entrance hall’ corner; we also added a bench with storage to this corner, a rug and additional green details. The glazed lighting fixture was place at the centre of the kitchen, and to match this we chose a glass top table that sits six, with black steel legs, and six black dining chairs. The shopping list came to a total of £2,200. Click the arrow bellow to see before.
