WHAT IS E-DESIGN?

e-Design is a virtual design process where Interior Design services and all communications between client and designer are done via e-mail, phone calls and video chats.

This process allows the designer to offer these services throughout the country and, as a bonus, it saves the client time and money. 

This is more of a hands-on approach for the client, as they are required to take measurements of the space for the designer at the beginning of the project, and once the project is finalised, the client will do the shopping, painting and assorting of the space while following the designer’s instructions included in the Little Home Interiors goodie-bag

The following steps will explain in detail how Little Home Interiors’ services work.

STEP 1 - THE PACKAGES

You must choose a package available here at Little Home Interiors. Packages vary in price according to their content.

 

There is something from everyone; from The Tiny Package, perfect for those who have an idea of what they want and are only looking for a little push; to The Huge Package, for those planning on re-designing their entire homes – the package in question also includes a discount for each room included to the project!

STEP 2 - TELL ME ABOUT YOUR IDEAS

Once you have chosen a Little Home Interiors package, it is time to get started. This step includes a short questionnaire, which once completed, will serve as a guide during the designing step. This will let me know your likes and dislikes, budget, ideas, style, needs, expectations, etc. We also need to find out the exact measurement of the room we will be working on, so you will be guided through the measuring process of the space.

STEP 3 - THE DESIGNING PROCESS

During step three, I will review your questionnaire, create a virtual 3D model of your room using the measurements provided, and start to creatively work on your space. I will be looking out for furniture and accessories items that will match your style while keeping to your targeted budget and I will work on the best layout plan based on space, lighting and room functionality.  

 

Once I am happy with my initial ideas, I will present these to you, so we can discuss your opinion, and make modifications as you please.

 

Depending on your choice of package, you will be able to have your space re-designed up to three times.

STEP 4 - THE GOODIE-BAG

If we have reached step four, it means that you are 100% happy with the work we have done and have given me the green light to finalise the project. I will then start to work on your final handover goodie-bag. 

 

The content of your goodie-bag will vary according to your choice of package. All deals include a 3D Flooplan, which will provide you with an idea of texture, colour pallet, furniture style, etc; a furniture layout plan, which will show you exactly where to place each furniture or accessory item around the room; and a personalised shopping list, which will include price, quantity, special notes such as size or colour, and of course, the link of where to get such items from. 

 

You can also choose to receive rendered images of how the room would look like once finalised, and a 360 panorama which will place you at the centre of your room, allowing you to look around by moving your mobile phone, or your computer mouse.

STEP 5 - SHOPPING TIME!

Once you have received your goodie-bag it is up to you to make your dream room come to life by simply following all the instructions provided on your Little Home Interiors handover.
